Union Bank of India Recruitment 2024: Union Bank of India, a Government of India Undertaking, has released a recruitment notification for 500 Apprentice positions across various branches in India. This opportunity is open to fresh graduates under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The online application process begins on 28th August and closes on 17th September 2024.

This recruitment aims to engage apprentices for training in different Union Bank of India branches throughout the country. It’s important to note that this is not a job or contract employment with the bank. Apprentices will not be considered Union Bank of India employees and will not receive any employee benefits. The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 for a one-year engagement period.

Eligible candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university or institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification Required

Candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 1st July 2024. Candidates must be prepared to produce mark sheets and provisional/degree certificates issued by their University/Institute/College when required by the bank.

Age Limit

Age limit for applicants is between 20 and 28 years as of 1st August 2024. This means candidates must have been born between 2nd August 1996 and 1st August 2004 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years
• PwBD candidates: 10 years (in addition to category relaxation)

Selection Process

Selection process for Union Bank of India Apprentice recruitment 2024 consists of the following stages:

1. Online Examination (Objective Type)
2. Knowledge and Test of Local Language
3. Wait Test
4. Medical Examination

The online examination will comprise four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. Each section will have 25 questions carrying 25 marks, totaling 100 questions for 100 marks.

Salary Details

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 for the one-year engagement period.
